Who Qualify to study abroad ?

To qualify for studying abroad depends on few things.

A student must have completed high school, to study abroad. Most universities and colleges would want to admit a student who has attained grade C- plan and above, for those students who aspire to study at undergraduate (degree) level.

For those students who already got their degree (undergraduate), universities and colleges abroad will give admission to those students who has attained PASS and above. For those students who wish to study at masters level (graduates study), will need to have cleared their first degree.

Those who are willing to take doctorate or PhD must have completed their graduate studies and passed successful.

For students willing to attend technical colleges, they need to have some knowledge on the relevant course they are to take abroad.

For exchange students; they need to be enrolled in a college or university at the time of application. On few occasion a student might want to study at high school level abroad, which is also an option.

The prospective schools hold all the mandates to give an admission to an incoming student. Different schools will have very minimal differences on requirements set for admission.

Most schools would want to know your educational background; they would want you to take the relevant exams. All the schools would want you to demonstrate sufficient financial proof to support your studies abroad.

What is the difference between a college and a university?

College’ and ‘University’ are used interchangeably in the U.S. The more common used phrase is college. Both words refer to a school that offer a four-year undergraduate degree. A university is a large institution which has a number of colleges within it. It offers not only a Bachelor’s degree but also other degree programs such as Graduate and PhD. This differentiates it from a college which has limited or no Graduate or PhD programs. Colleges in Canada offer diploma and certificate programs. Often times it is two years and is more practical oriented. Only universities in offer degree programs in Canada.

Where in the world should Study?

It is advisable to think about real-life situations before making your choice on where to study. Facts to consider are like the cost of studying in your chosen country (both tuition costs and living costs), your graduates career prospects and welfare/ safety in general. You should also think about what sort of lifestyle you wish to have during your studies. Do you want to live in a big city or a small university town? Do you want arts and culture on your doorstep or world-class sporting facilities? Whatever your interests, be sure to match them up with your study destination so that you really give yourself the best chance of loving your international experience.

How to i choose a study program abroad?
